Deliverability & Safety — Protect Your Sender Reputation
Deliverability settings help you protect your sender reputation and ensure your emails reach their destination. Access them from Settings > Deliverability.
Health Warnings
Section titled “Health Warnings”When enabled, CloakMetric shows a warning before you send an email from an alias with a Warning health status. This gives you a chance to reconsider before potentially harming your reputation.
- Toggle: On / Off
- Default: On
Block Risky Aliases
Section titled “Block Risky Aliases”When enabled, CloakMetric prevents you from sending emails from aliases with a Risky health status. This is a safety net to stop emails that are likely to bounce or trigger spam complaints.
- Toggle: On / Off
- Default: Off
Daily Send Limit
Section titled “Daily Send Limit”Set a maximum number of emails that can be sent per alias per day. This prevents any single alias from sending too much volume too quickly, which can trigger spam filters.
- Recommended range: 50–100 emails/day
- Default: 50
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Start slow. When using a new alias or domain, send small volumes first and increase gradually.
- Monitor health scores. Check the Analytics page regularly for warning signs.
- Disable risky aliases promptly. Don’t let risky aliases accumulate — deactivate them and create fresh ones.
- Use DKIM and SPF. If using a custom domain, ensure all DNS records are properly configured.
- Avoid spam-like content. Use clear subject lines, avoid excessive links, and include a way for recipients to unsubscribe.
